Not Just for Little Girls: Bow Trends to Try

feminine
If you asked me what's the one thing that can easily fix any bad hair day, my answer would be a bow. Not that I'm a frilly girly-girl, but there's something so cute and classic about a bow, I can't help myself. (It also happens to be one of the hottest trends around right now.) And a bow is more than just a hair accessory. You can put a bow on pretty much anything: shoes, dresses, jewelry.

Since I'm bow-obsessed these days, I've rounded up the best of the best: from statement rings to a trendy trench coat with bow accents. And if you think you're too old to for bows, think again. These bows are sophisticated and cool definitely not the kind you wore as a little kid. Go ahead and scroll down to see for yourself.

1. Keep It Classic
Combine two hairstyles (a bun and an upside-down French braid) with a polka dot pink bow for sweetness overload. Add some chunky jewelry to keep things from getting too girly.

2.Bowtie Beauty
A bowtie inspired necklace is a cool twist on menswear, and neon pink adds an unexpected pop of color.

3. A Shimmery Accent
You're pretty much guaranteed to feel cheerful in a sparkly bow manicure, and lemon yellow is a nice alternative to classic pink or red.

4. Ring Bling
Gold hardware adds a bit of toughness to a bow's ultra girly appeal. Choose a common color theme (like gold, black, and white) and pile on the bling.

5.Bow Bandeau
A bow crop top paired with studded, daisy-printed cutoff denim shorts? Whew. There's a lot going on here, but somehow it all really comes together.
